Josh Brawer

Any mortgage consultant that says they don’t do what they do to see the excitement on people’s faces when they get the keys to their new home is either lying or dead. For Josh, there’s another layer to that. Josh forms relationships with his clients based on mutual trust. The result is clients who are comfortable discussing their financial situation, knowledgeable about the mortgage process, and closed on time with the mortgage that’s right for them.

Josh has come across a myriad of atypical lending situations, and he always finds a way to get the financing necessary. He’s perfectly suited The Downs Group, as our deep portfolio of loan products gives him the tools necessary to either find a way, or make one.

Josh went to Towson University as an Undergrad and University of Maryland, University College as a Grad student, getting his MBA while working a full time job and raising two young children. Josh brings this sense of accomplishment to The Downs Group at Vellum Mortgage. Outside of work he likes to spend time with his son and daughter, play golf, and read books (mostly fiction).
